Page header

Navigating · researched

The area at the top of a page holding its title, breadcrumbs, actions and local tabs.

organism · Carbon: PageHeader · contains breadcrumb, heading, button-group, tabs

Each block is the real component from that system’s own package, in an isolated frame. They are live: hover, focus and press them. Frames are drawn on white so systems compare on one ground, and a font a system licenses only for its own site (GOV.UK’s Transport) falls back to what the system itself specifies.

Ant Design

absentAnt Design does not ship this component. Nothing is drawn in its place.

Checked: components directory listing (GitHub API), installed antd/es, docs overview group list. No PageHeader or similar; Layout.Header is only a bar region and Breadcrumb/Tabs are separate.

Experimental: the new PageHeader family (breadcrumb bar, content, tab bar) is commented out of react index.ts pending v12; @carbon/react 1.117.0 exports only the older PageHeaderDeprecated as preview__PageHeader and unstable__PageHeader. Div-based. No docs-site page.

GOV.UK

absentGOV.UK does not ship this component. Nothing is drawn in its place.

Checked: component index (https://design-system.service.gov.uk/components/ , 37 components), patterns index, styles index, repo tree src/govuk/components and objects, and installed govuk-frontend 6.5.1 components directory. No page-header component. Closest are Header and Service navigation (site-level) and the Breadcrumbs, Back link and heading styles used by teams at the top of a page.

Material Web

absentMaterial Web does not ship this component. Nothing is drawn in its place.

Checked docs/components (20 component pages), the repo top-level dirs, labs/, labs/gb/components and the installed 2.5.0 package. No title/breadcrumb/actions region. Closest is the unpublished GB app bar (see header), which has no breadcrumb or tabs.

Primer React. div-based with ContextArea, TitleArea, Title, Actions, Navigation and Description slots; status ready. Pagehead (src/Pagehead, deprecated, no docs page) is the older equivalent.

Spectrum

absentSpectrum does not ship this component. Nothing is drawn in its place.

Checked the sitemap.xml and query-index.json component list, S2 exports, SWC 1st-gen/gen2 trees and spectrum-css components for a page title area with breadcrumbs and actions: none. spectrum-css 'page' (9.2.0) is a page layout, not a header; S2 Header is a container region slot. Index also lists none.

USWDS

absentUSWDS does not ship this component. Nothing is drawn in its place.

Checked the docs component index and status page and the develop packages/ tree (88 entries, matching installed 3.14.0): no page-header component; titles, breadcrumbs and local navigation are separate components. The Documentation page template composes them but is a template.
